We understand that navigating mental health care expenses can be challenging. While we do not accept insurance, you may be eligible for reimbursement through your insurance provider. Below is a guide to help you determine if your insurance plan covers out-of-network psychiatric care.
Do We Accept Insurance?
No, we are a private pay practice, meaning we do not directly bill insurance companies. Patients are responsible for the full payment of services at the time of the appointment.
Can You Get Reimbursed by Your Insurance?
Many insurance providers offer out-of-network benefits, allowing you to submit a claim for reimbursement. Reimbursement eligibility depends on your insurance plan and provider. We recommend calling your insurance company and asking:
✔️ Do you cover out-of-network mental health services?
✔️ What is the reimbursement rate for psychiatric visits?
✔️ What is my deductible, and has it been met?
✔️ Do I need pre-authorization for psychiatric care?
✔️ How do I submit a claim for reimbursement?
Superbill for Reimbursement
If your insurance covers out-of-network care, we can provide a superbill, which is a detailed invoice containing the necessary information for you to submit a claim to your insurance company. This document includes:
📌 Provider details
📌 Diagnosis and treatment codes
📌 Payment details
Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your plan’s policies.
Medicaid & Medicare Policy
We cannot accept Medicaid or Medicare patients, even for self-pay services, due to federal and state regulations governing private pay clinics. If you require Medicaid-covered psychiatric services, we recommend reaching out to a provider within the Medicaid network.
Flexible Payment Options
Since insurance reimbursement may vary, we offer flexible payment options to make mental health care more accessible. Payment is required at the time of service, and we accept major credit and debit cards.
