Kiddo Psychiatry's Insurance

We understand that navigating mental health care expenses can be challenging. Kiddo Psychiatry now accepts select insurance plans, and we’re here to help you understand your options.

Do We Accept Insurance?

Yes, we accept insurance. We are in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, Anthem and Aetna.

If we are out-of-network with your insurance, you may be eligible for out-of-network reimbursement depending on your plan.

Can You Get Reimbursed by Your Insurance?

Many insurance providers offer out-of-network benefits, which may allow you to submit a claim for reimbursement. Eligibility depends on your specific plan.

When speaking with your insurance company, ask the following:

  • Do you cover out-of-network mental health services?
  • What is the reimbursement rate for psychiatric visits?
  • What is my deductible, and has it been met?
  • Do I need pre-authorization for psychiatric care?
  • How do I submit a claim for reimbursement?

Superbill for Reimbursement

If your plan allows for out-of-network coverage, we can provide a superbill to help you file a claim. This document includes:

  • Provider details
  • Diagnosis and treatment codes
  • Payment details

Please note that reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends entirely on your plan’s policies.

Medicaid & Medicare Policy

Due to federal and state regulations, we are unable to accept Medicaid or Medicare patients, even for self-pay services.

If you require care under Medicaid, we recommend locating a provider within the Medicaid network.

Flexible Payment Options

To support accessibility and ease of care:

  • Payment is required at the time of service for copays and private pay fees
  • We accept all major credit and debit cards

Need Help?

If you have questions about:

  • Insurance coverage
  • Reimbursement
  • Obtaining a superbill

Please reach out to our office. While we cannot guarantee insurance reimbursement, we are happy to guide you through the process and provide the necessary documentation.
