To Kerrville and Kerr County families:

We are deeply saddened by the sudden and devastating flash floods along the Guadalupe River on July 4–5, 2025. In Kerr County alone, at least 43 people have lost their lives—including 15 children—and dozens remain missing, especially from Camp Mystic where 27 girls are still unaccounted for. The speed and power of the flood, rising over 25 feet in under an hour, have left our community in profound grief and shock.
