AUTISM TESTING

Many insurance companies require a formal diagnosis from a medical doctor to authorize services like ABA therapy, speech therapy, occupational therapy, or physical therapy.

In some cases, formal testing is also needed. We use the Childhood Autism Rating Scale, Second Edition (CARS-2) to assess behaviors, communication, and social interactions.

What the Evaluation Includes:

• Parent Interview (60 minutes): We listen to your story, gather your child’s developmental history, and explore your concerns.

• Child Observation Session (60 minutes): Your child interacts with our psychiatrist while we observe social, emotional, and communication patterns.

• Feedback Session (60 minutes): We review results, explain the diagnosis when applicable, and share clear recommendations.
