Service Fees
Initial Evaluation (Two 45-Minute Sessions): $350 per session
The comprehensive initial evaluation is conducted over two 45-minute sessions. These sessions include:
- A detailed review of the child’s medical history, developmental milestones, current symptoms, and family history
- Use of standardized assessments and clinical interviews to evaluate emotional, behavioral, and cognitive functioning
The goal is to identify any underlying psychiatric concerns and create a personalized treatment plan tailored to the child’s specific needs.
Follow-Up: Medication Management (30 Minutes): $225
These focused sessions address the child’s response to prescribed medications and include:
- Monitoring effectiveness and side effects
- Adjusting dosages or medications if necessary
- Updating the treatment plan as symptoms change
Follow-Up: Medication Management + Therapy (45 Minutes): $350
This combined session includes both medication management and therapeutic support. It may involve:
- Evaluating the child’s progress with current medications
- Introducing or adjusting therapeutic approaches such as:
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
- Play Therapy
- Family Therapy
- Addressing emotional, behavioral, or cognitive concerns in a supportive, developmentally appropriate way
Consultation / Second Opinion (90 Minutes): $675
This session provides a one-time, in-depth consultation or second opinion for individuals already under psychiatric care. It includes:
- Comprehensive review of medical, developmental, and treatment history
- In-depth clinical assessment using interviews and standardized tools
- A full analysis with recommendations, which may include:
- Confirmation or revision of existing diagnoses
- Suggestions for alternative treatments
- Guidance on next steps for care
Payment Policy
All services must be paid in full before the scheduled appointment.
Accepted payment methods include major credit/debit cards and other approved electronic options.
Note: We do not bill insurance directly. Clients are responsible for full payment at the time of booking.
Insurance Policy
Kiddo Psychiatry is a private pay clinic and does not accept insurance. However, many insurance providers offer reimbursement for out-of-network services.
We recommend contacting your insurance provider to verify:
✔️ Coverage for psychiatric services
✔️ Out-of-network benefits
✔️ Deductibles and copay requirements
✔️ Reimbursement process and required documentation
A superbill can be provided upon request to assist with potential reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your individual plan.
Medicaid Policy
Due to Medicaid regulations, we are unable to accept Medicaid patients, even on a self-pay basis. Medicaid does not permit private pay arrangements for services outside their network.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
To ensure availability for all clients and respect the time of our clinicians:
📅 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations or rescheduling
❌ Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur a late cancellation fee
❌ Missed appointments (no-shows) will be charged and may result in limited future availability

Emergency Care Policy
Kiddo Psychiatry does not provide emergency services. If your child is experiencing a psychiatric or medical emergency, please call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room.
Examples of emergencies include:
🚨 Suicidal thoughts or self-harm behavior
🚨 Severe panic attacks or anxiety crises
🚨 Overdose or ingestion of harmful substances
🚨 Any other life-threatening mental health or medical concerns
